Sick Kicks: Inspo to Step Up Your Shoe Game

Risky shoe purchases can be scary. We’ve all asked ourselves, “Will I ever be ballsy enough to actually wear them?” or “Is it really worth the money?” And we all know how tricky it can be to keep your shoe game up to par.  However, I have found that no matter how daunting the idea of wearing anything other than white Nike Air Force 1’s is, a pair of unique shoes can add a dimension to an outfit that nothing else can. Even with a style that you may consider more minimalistic, a pair of exciting shoes can be the outfit.

The fear of standing out and being uncomfortable is inherently human. But so is craving uniqueness. The way you dress is the perfect facilitator of how you can make yourself an individual in your own terms. That is why I say to ignore the fear that comes with buying items that are “risky”. If you like it, buy it! As crazy as it sounds, I can almost guarantee you that no one is going to think too much about the shoes you're wearing (unless they are obsessed with them in the best way). And if it’s for the wrong reasons - there may be deeper issues on their end. We all have made fashion mistakes (trust me), but if you’re having fun along the way, who cares? It’s called ~growth~.

Now’s the time to put aside the shoes that you’ve worn for the sixth time this week and check out some of my favorite shoe inspirations at the moment. From totally risky to just a teeny bit out there - I have all the inspo you need to upgrade your shoe game.
