How to use frames to upgrade your look

If you feel like something from your outfit is missing, it might just be a pair of frames. A pair of frames add some personality and help express yourself to the outside world.

Today, there is a lot of discussion around what flatters your physical features, but instead of thinking about which frames “flatter” your face, I want to talk about which frames match the vibe you want to give off to others based on my own perceptions.

Metal Frame

To me, metal frames are the most “basic” pair of glasses, but basic isn’t bad. This means these frames are the most adaptable to any style. They are somewhat understated, they’re practical and can change to fit any way you want to express yourself.

Wear it with sporty outfits or classy outfits, it will be a chameleon and support whatever look you want.

Colorful Frame

Colors are a great way to express yourself. These colorful frames can be your favorite color, your color aura or simply any color you like.

When I see someone with colorful frames, I just know they’re fun and quirky, but I also wonder why they chose that color instead of the other ones. What’s great about color frames is that they can express something deeply personal to you and express that intensity at a quiet level.

Instead of just the first impression that you’re fun, people might be more curious about what’s under that surface level.

Aviator Frame

Aviators are in and cool too. They are boyish and vintage. This person dresses like a cool grandpa. It’s like the eclectic grandpa trend from 2024.

If you wear aviators, you are an old soul and a wise person. Both loud and quiet, you receive the world as it comes because you’ve experienced it all and know your time in it is finite. You’re really chill.

Oval Frame

Although the office siren aesthetic from last year may be losing favor, the tortoise shell Miu Miu-like oval frames are still in. If you wear these, you give off a serious, smart vibe.

You are quiet, reserved and always analyzing. Your space is clean and you wear neutrals and muted colors. You are very chic and sleek, almost perfect. That’s what oval frames say about the person who wears them, in my opinion.

Oversized Frame

The oversized frame expresses a youthful and carefree attitude. With frames so big, your face looks small. It’s like when you try on your parents’ glasses as a kid and it falls off of your face because they’re too big.

You don’t like to take life too seriously and keep your childlike energy close to yourself.

Let people from the outside see who you are on the inside and upgrade your looks with a personal pair of frames.
