Spring Break Trend Forecast

Spring Break is near and I am providing you with what to wear for every occasion on your vacation. You can also use these outfit tips to get dressed up and enjoy the rising temps back home too! Either way, be sure to pair all of your cute outfits with a mask and stay safe this Spring Break!

Tops

Peek-a-boo Cardi

No matter the season, I refuse to travel without my cardis. These tie ups are perfect to throw over your swimsuit as you head to the beach or wear out on the town over a bandeau. You can even do a D.I.Y. with an old cardigan for a super cheap and sustainable version!

Corset Tops

This very on-the-rise trend will surely be a go-to for Spring Break 2021. I personally love that women are able to take back this outfit and put our own, freeing spin on it. Let’s remind ourselves that corsets were originally created and forced by men to shape women’s bodies to look how they wanted. Today, let's make it ours!

Scarf Tops

This is another piece that you can easily create yourself or find at a variety of stores. One scarf can be styled in many ways too. I made my own scarf top out of something I found in my grandma’s closet; but, a piece of advice for the homemade ones: tie them very tight and consider some clever safety pinning- especially if you have big night out plans. Wink wink.

Bottoms

Pleated tennis skirt

Winter has gone on long enough, it's time to show some skin. I loved the oversized crew neck with a white pleated tennis skirt; but, this time, let's make it Spring Break. The tennis skirts go with anything and can be dressed up or down.

Biker Shorts

Yes they are still in, but will you wear yours with a blazer this Spring Break? I have to confess, a blazer with bike shorts is too much for me. It gives me Zoom meeting at 5:00 and Spin Class at 6:00, but some women really do pull it off. Let's go girl bosses.

Statement Pants/Skirts

Zebra, neon green, stripes… my love is with any sort of statement bottoms. Extra credit if they make that booty pop. These are THE statement pieces. The miniskirt pictured below is over $1,000 but I am sure you could find a hidden treasure at a thrift store.

Shoes

White platforms

I am absolutely obsessed with any low or high top type of white platform shoes. Thanks to Hailey Bieber and her new campaign with the shoe brand Supergas, I just got the cutest pair of white platform high top sneakers all set and packed away for my own Spring Break trip. Additionally, they are the perfect airport shoes!

Colorful strappy heels

This shoe works with jeans, sundresses, skirts, and just about any outfit you could pack for Spring Break. You can use these to add a fun pop of color to any outfit and make it classy.

Swimwear

Ringlet Bikinis

I am 100% here for the ringlet bikini look. This really brings me back to a content time when we thought Britney Spears was happy and free. Be sure to sport this look at the beach with a chunky gold chain necklace and even a retro hair bandana to finish it off.

Square Sunglasses

Only the few chosen ones can pull this off. Whoever you few are, I envy you. Every time I go shopping I try this look out and it is just not the move for me but I am still obsessed. I call these Pop Smoke sunglasses because truly, he started the trend (I am convinced).
